Lexie, Female Weimeraner, 4 Years Old |
Lexie was found as a stray in Central MA. The shelter that took her in noticed that there were large polyps in both of her ears and she was in need of urgent care. The shelter contacted our rescue and we promptly found a foster home for her and made an emergency vet visit. From the looks of Lexie's ears it is clear she has had a long and painful struggle with ear infections. She underwent a TECABO surgery on her left ear in January which has healed beautifully and has made her infinitely more comfortable. Lexie is a petite little girl at only 48 pounds and we are guessing she is around 4-5 years old. She is incredibly loving and affectionate and is friendly with everyone she meets. Lexie loves to go for walks and is getting along beautifully with her new four-legged foster brother and sisters though we suspect she would thrive as an "only child". Lexie has been exposed to people of all ages and sizes and she is an absolute gem. Lexie will do best in a home with family members that can be considerate of her poor hearing. Lexie is relatively calm for her breed but like all Weimeraners she does have energy to burn, the ideal family for her would be avid joggers, walkers, or hikers looking for a trail companion. Paco, Male Chihuahua, One Year Old |
Paco is a happy sweet one year old Chihuahua. He loves to be sitting on your lap just hanging out laying in his bed close to his humans. He is a handsome fawn color with beautiful green eyes. Paco age is estimated at a year old, he even has the baby teeth to prove it. Paco is very food motivated, and responds well to training. He would be easy to teach a trick or two! Paco does great with everyone he meets, and just wants to give kisses and get belly rubs. Paco would do best in a home with older children due to his size. Paco loves the cats, and dog in his foster home, and loves to play. He would be fine as an only dog or as a companion to another dog. Paco was adopted on March 13th! |

Petey, Terrier Mix, 10 Months Old |
Petey is a young Terrier mix, and he is 10 months old. Petey is a medium size guy and weighs 25lbs. He is very sweet and affectionate. He loves to be hugged and cuddled with and loves to give kisses. Petey was found as a stray in western Mass. Petey was very unsure and scared in his kennel but once out of the kennel Petey relaxed in just a few minutes and showed us how social and lovable he was. Petey would make a great running partner or hiking companion, he would love an active family that will engage him in play and include him on daily activities. Petey is good with other dogs and currently being fostering in a doggy day care where he's really enjoying himself and making other doggie friends! Petey was adopted on March 13th! |

Quinnie, Female Boxer Mix, One Year Old |
Quinnie, short for Harlequin, is a stunning boxer mix who was found in the woods of central mass and remained unclaimed for weeks. Her blue merle coloring has everyone stopping in their tracks and admiring her. She is roughly a year old, and weighs 45 pounds. Quinnie came to us incredibly fearful of humans and while she is still very nervous around strangers, she is thriving in her foster home. Her fear should not be confused with shyness. Only this girl and knows what she has been through but trust does not come easily to her. Quinnie has warmed up to her foster family and even a few regular visitors. She loves snuggling up against foster mom for petting and chest scratching but this took months of patience and reassurance to accomplish. She gets very nervous and upset outside of the home. Her foster family compares her to a "stolen Rembrandt", something incredibly beautiful to quietly enjoy in the security of your home. Quinnie was adopted on March 12th! |

Scout, Male Dachshund Mix, 1.5 Years Old |
Scout is a super cute one and a half year old Dachshund mixed breed dog and he weighs about 20lbs, We believe he may be mixed with a Golden Retriever due to his super cute retriever face and coloring. Scout is just a ton of fun! He is lively and affectionate. Scout is great with children and with other dogs. He is very social and loves everyone he meets. Scout is quiet in his crate and hardley barks. He LOVES to play with stuffed toys and explore the outdoors. Scout is energetic and loves to play but he also enjoys his down time with his foster family. If you are looking for a dog that knows when to have fun and when to relax, Scout's your guy! Avril, Female Terrier Mix, 16 Weeks Old |
Avril is approximately one year old and weighs ten pounds. She came to our rescue from a western MA animal control that had taken Avril and her relatives from an animal hoarding situation. Avril was one of 25 dogs living at her home. She was terrified at the shelter so we took her into foster care to find out more about her personality. Avril is a sweet girl who bonds very closely with her people. She loves to cuddle on the couch with you and she loves to play. She is nervous when meeting new people but once she gets to know you you get to see what a fabulous dog she is. She is working on her housetraining but if kept on a schedule she does great. Avril was adopted on March 5th! |

Pepe, Male Chihuahua Mix, 3 Years Old |
Pepe is a sweet Chihuahua mix that was found as a stray in western Massachusetts. He is approximately two or three years old and weighs about 11 pounds. Pepe is a playful dog who loves action. Other times he likes to cuddle and sit in your lap, and he settles down in his crate nicely. He loves to play with other dogs and gets along with all dogs, even the big ones. While he is interested in cats and may chase them a bit, it's all play and nothing that can't be managed easily. Pepe was adopted on February 26th! |

Piglet is easily the cutest dog you will ever see! He was found as a stray in Boston and had a difficult time meeting adopters at the shelter. We brought him into our rescue so he can live in a foster home and let his personality shine. Piglet is around three years old and he weighs about six pounds. Piglet is nothing but a complete lovebug once he gets to know you! He loves his people and wants affection. He loves to give kisses, have his belly rubbed and will nudge your hand for more. He has a decent amount of energy and he loves to play but he also settles nicely and he will curl up in his bed for a nap. Piglet was adopted on February 24th! |

Abby, Female Pit Bull Terrier Mix, 1.5 Years Old |
Abby was found as a stray and was in the pound for over a month before a foster home opened up for her. Kennel staff simply fell in love with her. She is around 1 ½ years old. As you can see, she is as cute as can be. Initially a little shy, she warms right up rather quickly and enjoys the attention of her many admirers. And admirers she has-people are just drawn to her sweet face and oh so soft cuddly body. She enjoys playing, walks and car rides. She may have some hound in her because she is very scent driven. She sometimes sounds like a vacuum cleaner when sniffing on her walks! Abby was adopted on February 22nd! |

Daisy is a 10 month - one year old terrier mix and weighs about 13lbs. Daisy was found as a stray in western MA and never reclaimed. She is cute as a button with her beautiful golden blonde wire coat. Daisy has the sweetest big brown eyes that will melt your heart. Daisy is as sweet as can be and very affectionate. She loves to sit in your lap and enjoys being held and cuddled with. Daisy is a playful young girl that would love a home with a warm lap to cuddle in and someone special to play with her. Percy is a small mixed breed dog who weighs about 12 pounds and is approximately three years old. He was found as a stray in western Massachusetts. Percy is an incredibly mellow dog who loves relaxing and hanging out with his people and his stuffed toy. He loves to get belly rubs and will curl up in your lap for some love but he's also very content just hanging out in his dog bed. Percy is not a high maintenance or needy dog. He gets along fine with dogs of all sizes but he's more of a companion than a playmate. Percy was adopted on February 19th! |

Daisy is a sweet girl and aims to please. She is a young, 6 yr old, approximately 50 lbs, and appears to be part Shepard. She was surrendered because of a divorce; it wasn't her fault. She loves to meet people and go for rides. She is very loving and wants to be the one that is getting all the attention. Because of this, she needs a special family. She is susceptible to attention aggression and would do best in a home with people who have experience with dogs and are willing to spend time with her. She has learned the pecking order here with her two foster brothers. They play together and run around the cranberry bogs daily. Daisy was adopted on February 12th! |

Darcy, Female Terrier Mix, 2 Years Old |
Darcy is approximately one year old and around nine pounds. She came to our rescue from a western MA animal control that had taken Darcy and her relatives from an animal hoarding situation. Darcy was one of 25 dogs living at her home. She was terrified at the shelter so we took her into foster care to find out more about her personality. Darcy is a sweet little girl who loves attention from people once she gets to know them. She also gets along very well with other little dogs in her foster home. She would love another playmate in her home who would also encourage her to interact with people. She is a sweetheart who will go right up to her foster family for love and attention. She has started nudging and pawing at people's hands for affection and she will occasionally lick faces to show her love. She really enjoys human interaction and she will nap in your lap or cuddle next to you on the couch with her head in your lap while you pet her. She also loves having her belly rubbed and her favorite place to hang out is on a warm electric blanket with her foster mom. Darcy has taken to trotting around the house with her head held high like she is queen. When she trots around her adorable ears just flop and flop. Darcy's poor tail shows the neglect that she endured in her previous home - it is shorter than it should be and the few inches that she has left has been broken in two places. She is eager to put her past life behind her. Darcy was adopted on February 12th! |

Bubba, Male Terrier Mix, 2 Years Old |
Bubba was found as a stray in western Mass and shelter life did not suit him at all. One of our volunteers scooped him up and we found that Bubba is a happy, loving dog that weighs in at around 12lbs. He is looking for that special someone who can help him learn all that he needs to. He is so eager to please. He needs a patient experienced teacher because he can be somewhat timid. He loves attention, praise, and belly rubs. He is a gentleman with the foster home's female dog, and cats. He was a good boy at the groomers too. Bubba's age is estimated two years. Bubba was adopted on February 11th! |

Scarlett, Female Chihuahua Mix, 12 Years Old |
Scarlett is a sweet Chihuahua mix who weighs about five pounds and is at least 12 years old. Can you believe this poor girl was found wandering around as a stray in western Massachusetts? She is blind in one eye and has limited vision out of the other. Scarlett has mammary tumors and could possibly have cancer. She is too delicate at this age to have surgery to remove them. Luckily, Scarlett has found a great home in which to live out her days and is enjoying life. Scarlett was adopted on February 7th! |

Dash is a sweet little guy who weighs about seven pounds and is between one and two years old. Dash was living outside for at least two months before two concerned women trapped him. He was nervous at the shelter so we brought him into foster care with our rescue to help him relax. Dash is a very affectionate dog who likes to sit in your lap and give kisses but if there are other dogs around he wants to play! He walks well on a leash, is great in the car and doesn't mind being picked up. Dash was adopted on February 6th! |

Tully is completely housebroken; crate trained and gets along with everyone, other dogs and all likes of humans. If you're looking for a snuggler who will love you to pieces then this is your girl. Irish, Female American Staffordshire Terrier, 16 Weeks Old |
Irish is a lovely white pittie pup with four ridiculously cute brown spots. She weighs about 15 pounds and we are estimating her age at around 14 weeks. Irish was was found in the parking lot of a veterinarian's office. Irish is super playful and loves to leap and twirl around trying to engage her foster family in play. She loves romping with her foster sister Quinnie and is appropriate, if not slightly submissive with the adult dogs in her home. Irish was adopted on February 4th! |

Annie is a very sweet and docile poodle mix--she weighs about 25 lbs and was born in June 07. She was surrendered by an owner who had numerous dogs but they were all unsocialized so Annie's not used to other people or animals. She is probably not housetrained. She seems to like being held and comforted and she wags her tail when we tell her sweet nothings. She will probably be a wonderful easy dog, but she will need some TLC in the short-term. Milo is currently being fostered with a female pittie (whom he loves romping with) and is appropriate when meeting other dogs on leash walks. Milo is also being fostered with 3 cats and he is very respectful of them. He loves to play, take a quick dip in the water, go for car rides, and chew on his Kong and stuffed toys. Milo would make a great running companion or someone who enjoys doing off leash walks in a wooded area. While Milo has a very active puppy side to him he also enjoys cuddle time with his foster family. Milo is working on being calmer in exciting situations, so he doesn’t jump or get mouthy. Molly Molly is a 6 month old Maltese who was abandoned with three other dogs by her owner. She is sweet, sweet, sweet. However, she has not been trained or housebroken and has had little experience in the world. We would prefer that she go to a home that has another small playful dog. It would also be good if her new owner has experience housebreaking a puppy. A completely fenced yard would be nice too, since she still needs to understand how to walk on a leash. Sienna and her brother Xavier were found carousing a street in western mass. They were picked up by the animal control officer and brought to the local shelter where they remained unclaimed. Sienna has a lovely brindle coat and striking white markings. She is approximately 14 weeks old and weighs 16 pounds.
Sienna is a quiet soul and loves to cuddle. She is far more interested in curling up on a warm lap or snuggling with one of the other pups than she is getting involved in all of their tomfoolery. That said, she is the first puppy to greet new guests and usually does so with a lot of acrobatics and play-bowing.
Sienna is a unique mix with their brindle markings, (common in boxers and pitbulls) and her hound like face with a long a muzzle and hanging ears. Sienna has been exposed to lots of people, including kids and men and is very used to being handled. She has also met lots of other dogs of all ages and sizes. Sienna was adopted on January 24th! |

Wilma is a sweet older girl who was found as a stray in western MA. She is approx 10 years old and weighs in at around 10 pounds. She is sweet and gentle. She is still very lively and sometimes seems like a puppy but she also loves to relax and nap. Wilma may have some hearing and sight loss but she is still very able. She loves everyone she meets. She would do well in a home with tolerant cats, other dogs, or respectful older children. She loves to cuddle with all the humans in her foster home. She is a cutie. Cal is a loving 2 year old male Chihuahua. He was found as a stray in western MA and we took him into our rescue because he was very nervous at the animal control facility and it was hard to see his true personality. Now that he is in a foster home he has really come out of his shell. Cal is incredibly sweet. He is such a love bug and what a personallity to boot! He likes to be played with but will also just go into his crate to hang out on his own. He also is doing really well with his house training, Cal is nuetered, up to date on all vaccines, heartworm negative and on preventative and microchipped. Cal was adopted on January 9th! |

Blaze, Male Italian Greyhound, 17 Weeks Old |
Blaze was born in foster care and raised since birth in a dog and kid-friendly household. Mom (shown with Blaze) is an Italian Greyhound mix weighing just under 10 pounds. Blaze is food motivated, highly trainable, and very intelligent. The foster family has recently begun clicker training, and the results are amazing. The clicker is a lot of fun for both Blaze and his 9-yr-old human foster brother. Blaze is completely crate trained, and housebreaking is near to perfect. Like all young dogs, the ideal placement would be one where the primary caregiver is around most of the time. A fence, another dog, and kids would be ideal. Blaze is UTD and will be neutered prior to adoption.

Tonka, Male American Staffordshire/Pit Bull Terrier Mix, 17 Weeks Old

Tonka is a lovely golden pittie puppy. at 18 pounds he is a fat and solid and grumbles to himself like a little old man. He loves to play with his foster siblings but perhaps is a bit out of shape as he is typically the first to take a rest and curl up for a nap.
We are guessing that he is about 12-14 weeks old. He was siezed by the police during a drug raid in central mass. Tonka is eating a high quality kibble diet . He has been wormed and has recieved his first round of innoculations. All Dog Rescue will cover the cost of a pediatric nueter at our vet when he is mature enough. Nueter surgery will be coordinated at the time of his adoption. Tonka was adopted on January 8th! |

Kingsley, Male Cocker Spaniel 1.5 Years Old |
Kingsley is eager to connect and bond. He *loves* playing with squeaky toys, “tug of war”, and chasing and catching balls. He eagerly runs to get anything you throw – toys, balls, sticks and it’s a riot to watch him chase a laser pointer. When you give up, he’ll settle down beside you or nestle in your lap. He loves to ride in the car and does so happily and quietly. He’s learning to walk nicely on a leash. He sleeps through the night without a peep and does not stir in the morning until you do. His groomer gave him an A+ for his behavior and affectionate nature. Kingsley does not like to share with other dogs so he must go to a home without dogs. He would not be good with small children or timid people. He sometimes growls at strangers, so an owner who can give him the structure and training to learn acceptable greeting behavior is a must. Since he is so young and eager to please, patience and consistency will pay off. With firm boundaries and solid leadership, Kingsley will respect and reward you in many ways. Kingsley was stray in a Massachusetts city who spent some time in the local pound. He came to All Dog Rescue with a kennel cough and a “cherry eye”. His cherry eye was operated on but may need further treatment. Kingsley was adopted on January 7th! |

Xavier, Male Hound Mix 14 Weeks Old |
Xavier and his sister Sienna were found carousing a street in central mass. They were picked up by the animal control officer and brought to the local shelter where they remained unclaimed. Xavier has a lovely copper red brindle coat and beautiful white markings. He is approximately 14 weeks old and weighs 17 pounds. Xavier is super playful and is having a blast romping with the other puppies in his foster home. He loves squeak toys and chewing on his fancy new kong. He is appropriate with the adult dogs in the home and is a joy to foster. Xavier and Sienna are unique mixes with thier brindle markings and hound like faces. They've been exposed to lots of people, including kids and men and they are very used to being handled. They have also met other dogs of all ages and sizes. Xavier was adopted on January 5th! |

Lucy, Female German Pinscher/Shar Pei Mix 1.5 Years Old |
Lucy is a wonderful 30 pound, 1.5 year old, mixed-breed dog who is looking for her forever home. She is timid at first but once comfortable she lets her personality shine. Lucy is house-broken, crate trained, and knows the basic obedience commands - sit, stay, down, go to your bed, off, and no/leave it. She's a very fast, food-oriented learner, and she will undoubtedly make a great companion. She is calm indoors but needs daily exercise to use up her energy. She walks pretty well on her leash but still needs some work. She does very well with kids, cats, and other dogs, but can be slightly territorial over toys while playing. Lucy was adopted on January 4th!

Jasper, Male Chihuahua, 7 Years Old |
Jasper is a handsome 7 pound Chihuahua that was found as a stray in western MA. Jasper has a microchip and we were able to track his beginnings to a midwestern puppymill where he was born on 12/12/2002. A permanent home would be a great present for his 7th birthday (even if it is a little belated!) Jasper is a sweet, friendly dog who loves to cuddle. He wants to be in your lap if you are sitting down and if he isn't near you can bet that he is buried under a blanket somewhere. Jasper is a little shy with meeting new people but he warms up quickly with treats and will be sitting in their lap in no time. He walks great on a leash and doesn't mind being picked up. Jasper loves to go for outside for walks but, like a typical Chihuahua, he gets cold very easily. His foster mother wasn't sure if he would like to wear a sweater but he was trying to nose it on as soon as she got it out.
